Tarnished Crowns is set
in an alternate UK where Scotland and England are independent of each
other--each with their own monarchy. Blair is the Scottish princess and
her brother is the future king. Blair and Ben (who is the gardener's
son) were childhood friends and come together again when Ben is hired to
Blair's security detail. I will admit, it took a bit for this book to
completely grab my interest even after that shocker of a prologue, but
once I was in, I was ALL IN. This MMF political suspense story had me
clambering to know exactly what was happening and who could be trusted
and by the end, I was second-guessing everything I thought to be true. I
have absolutely no idea what to expect in the next book, but my grabby
hands are ready for it.

Annie lives in the north of England, not too far from the
amazing city of Manchester. She is owned by several cats and many hens,
narrowly avoiding being a mad cat woman by enslaving a very understanding husband.
