This is the first of four books in the Bluewater Billionaires series. I know, I know, there's a lot of billionaire books and you might be sick to death of them, right? Well, get this--the Bluewater Billionaire world focuses on LADY BILLIONAIRES. That's right, folks--this is girl power to the nth degree. I love this twist on a favorite trope.
In this first book, closet science nerd and wealthy businesswoman Emily Stanton finds herself in a bit of a predicament when some bad press comes her way. No worries though! Not when Derek Price, "fixer" of high-profile scandals is hired by her company to save the day by changing her image. These two do NOT hit it off at their "meet-nude" (you'll see 😂) and a wonderful, hilarious enemies-to-lovers romance ensues. This
book also introduces us to the group of friends who have built a community
(Bluewater) and will each have their own book in the series--Emily, Cameron, Luna, and Daisy.

I really loved this book. There are a ton of laugh out loud moments, as well several heartwarming moments--many of these coming as Emily shows us who she really is under that tough exterior. As is usual with Lucy Score's books, the supporting characters are just as endearing as the main characters (Jane is my FAVORITE!) and we meet a few unexpected characters along the way, too (keep an eye out for Frank and Steve. 😉) The relationships between these four women is exactly what a girl gang should be and what most of us long for. Derek is one of the swooniest heroes I've seen and he and Emily have chemistry that if off the charts. Add to that all the great one-liners and some fun cameos and this is definitely a must-read. Highly recommend!
