Breathless is the third book in the Texas Nights series but can be read as a stand-alone. The first two books are amazing though, so I would recommend reading them, as well. 
Joey has been in love with her best friend, Logan, her entire life and he is oblivious. She moves away to protect her heart and again, Logan is oblivious as to why she's disappeared. When she returns for a wedding, they are reunited but then some secrets threaten to tear them apart again.
This friends to lovers romance was very sweet and swoony with some spice.  Joey and Logan had great chemistry and I loved their banter.  The book started a little slow for me but when it picked up, it had nice flow and I was definitely cheering for this couple.  Lex Martin is a great storyteller and I'd recommend this series to anyone who loves a small-town romance.
