Whew! Jill and Cam were smokin' hot in this one! Both of them were carrying some intense secrets (some I thought that were set aside a little too easily) and this made them think they couldn't have a "real" relationship. What they didn't realize is that it was pretty darn real all along. Jill was hard to like at times, but I did admire her strength and how she was always there for the people in her circle. I loved the relationship she has with her girlfriends. Cam was everything you'd expect from the typical hot fireman, but there was also a deeper, scared side to him that made him very endearing to me. Kacey Shea's writing is excellent and kept me completely invested in this story, even though I did want to smack these two more than once. Overall, I thought it was a great read and I'm excited to get to Alicia's story.
