and if you didn't already know, the wealthy moguls featured in these

This reads just fine as a
stand-alone, but if you haven't read book one, The Price of Scandal
(Derek and Emily's book,) you should get on that.
This book tells the story of Cameron
Whitbury and Jude Ellis. Cameron is a millionaire aerospace mogul and
Jude is former CIA (and other secret things) who is trying to retire but
keeps being pulled back into security by various people--the latest
being his good friend Derek. Cameron's friends (aka, the vagillionaires)
are concerned for Cameron's safety after an attempted mugging in her
parking garage and Jude is hired as her bodyguard.
This book grabbed me from the
beginning! There were sparks flying from the moment Jude and Cameron
met. I loved watching their relationship progress as they learned to
trust each other.
There is so much to love about this book--the back and forth pull between Jude and Cameron, the vagillionaires and their loving dedication to each other, witty banter, the quirky Bluewater residents, and an 80's night (complete with parachute pants) at the Bluewater Disco that had me pulling up videos to some favorite songs of the past.

to that some great suspense, a few fun Easter Eggs from other books,
and Drag Queen Brunch (with a cameo from our favorite author) and this
is one book I could not put down. I can't wait to read more about this
amazing group of women!
