What a treat!! This was my first read by Piper Lawson and to say I was impressed is an understatement. I'm gonna have to go take a look at her backlist since I loved this one so much.
This is the story of Jax Jamieson, rock star legend, and Haley Telfer, college student and intern at (Jax's label) Wicked Records (and huge fan of Jax.) They are thrown together when Haley is sent by Wicked's CEO to help the sound engineer on the final leg of the U.S. tour with Jax and his band, Riot Act.
I was hooked from the beginning with this story! It's like a teenage girl's dream and then some. Jax and Haley have so much chemistry between them, you could feel it through the pages. This trilogy is filled with drama, heat, angst, and some jaw-dropping twists that left me reeling. It's also got tons of touching moments (I found myself tearing up more than once,) as well as some laughable ones. I loved the camaraderie of the band--they were friends first and their banter was highly entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed myself from beginning to end. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good rock star romance.
